Welcome
to St. Mary's Health Care Center, where our stated mission is to nurture the
healing ministry of the church by bringing it new life, energy and viability
into the 21st century. Our core values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and
Excellence reflect how we intend to live this stated mission and fulfill our
ministry to the patients and communities we serve.
As a part of our ministry, St. Mary's Healthcare Center is pleased to provide an
extensive continuum of care inclusive of traditional inpatient and outpatient
hospital care; Maryhouse, our 105-bed long-term care facility which has been
home to residents of the area for over 50 years; Parkwood, a 58-unit independent
living complex rich with activities and social opportunities; home health for
those individuals in need of skilled care within the comforts of their own home;
hospice care which is designed to bring care, compassion and dignity to
individuals and families in the final stage of life; and Gettysburg Medical
Center, providing hospital, long-term care and residential living to individuals
in and around the Gettysburg area.
We are fortunate to have an exceptional team of physicians and other health care
