Maryhouse, our 82 bed long-term care facility, emphasizes human dignity daily with its residents, staff and families. Emphasis is placed on each resident's physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Our meals and schedules accomdate individual lifestyles. Those who live and stay at Maryhouse are at home, cared for by people who are their friends and family. We are family taking care of family.
TCU, 23 bed the transitional care unit, offers a healing environment of private rooms and bath for people recovering from surgery or serious illness who need special nursing care and rehabilitation. Learning how to eat and speak after a stroke, or learning to move from bed to chair, are all skills encouraged and taught by trained staff. Two dining rooms bring people together socially after their surgeries or illness to help them move toward wellness.
ParkWood is an independent senior living apartment comples, offering the privacy of your own apartment combined with the social environment we all need. You will find a noon meal served daily, ensuring that everyone has a healthy and balanced meal along with their social interaction over lunch. There is always something happening at ParkWood, either cards or entertainment, or events like a special party or the occasional dance.
The creation of healthier communities is an important tenant of St. Mary's Healthcare's mission. We believe our Senior Living Services create the appropriate environment, emphasizing human dignity and a healing ministry to all residents and patients served through St. Mary's Healthcare Center.
